  • Recommendation:

    That: Council receives for information purposes Report PDS-13-2024 regarding a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment for 1127 Garrison Road.

  • Recommendation:

    That: Council approves the Consent Agenda as recommended.

Land Committee Meeting Minutes – March 21, 2024

  • Recommendation:

    That: Council receives the March 21, 2024 Land Committee meeting minutes attached as Appendix “1”; and further

    That: Council approves the entry into a new Licence Agreement with the Crystal Beach Business Improvement Area Board of Management for the operation and management of a Farmers’ Market and the use of the Erie Road Parking Lot (“the Grove”); and further

    That: Council directs staff to revisit The Licence Agreement with the Crystal Beach Business Improvement Area Board of Management in 2025 to ensure that there are no parking concerns associated with utilizing the Erie Road Parking Lot; and further

    That: Council approves the sale of a portion of Providence Lane to the owners of 108 Shannon Avenue; and further

    That: Council approves the dedication of a portion of 0-16255 Lincoln Road West as a public highway; and

    That: Council authorizes staff to prepare the necessary by-laws.

2023 Annual Investment Review

  • Recommendation:

    That: Council receives for information purposes Report CS-02-2024 regarding the 2023 annual investment review.

Park Naming Proposal for 1447 Sharon Drive

  • Recommendation:

    That: Council approves the proposed name “High Pointe Park” for the neighborhood park located at 1447 Sharon Drive; and further

    That: Council direct staff to submit the necessary by-law.

Re: Parks and Open Space Master Plan Review

Extension of Draft Plan of Subdivision Approval and Modificiation to Conditons of Draft Approval Recommendation Report for 1589 Nigh Road

  • Recommendation:

    That: Council extends draft plan approval for the Nigh Road draft plan of subdivision until April 12, 2025, and the Owner and Regional Municipality of Niagara Planning and Development Services be advised, and further

    That: Council directs that the conditions of approval for the Nigh Road draft plan of subdivision be amended as detailed in Appendix 5 to Report PDS-15-2024, and further

    That: Council directs that written notification of the amended conditions is not required due to the minor nature of the changes in accordance with Section 51(47) of the Planning Act, and further

    That: Council authorizes entry into a Subdivision Agreement with 2538070 Ontario Limited for the Draft Plan of Subdivision at 1589 Nigh Road, and further

    That: Council authorizes staff to prepare a by-law to execute the Subdivision Agreement and associated documents.
