Proclamation for National AccessAbility Week (NAAW)

Council proclaims the week of May 31 - June 6, 2026, as National AccessAbility Week.


National AccessAbility Week (NAAW) is a time when accessibility and inclusion are promoted across communities and workplaces, and a time to celebrate the contribution of Canadians with disabilities.

Ontario Network of Accessibility Professionals (ONAP) Conference - April 23 and 24, 2026

Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility

 

The Ministry will be hosting a virtual learning event on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for AAC members, municipal accessibility coordinators and staff who support AACs.

Next Meeting Date

 

The next meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, 2026 in Conference Room #1 at Town Hall; however, Bev will be out of the office. As an alternative option, it is recommended that the meeting be moved to Tuesday, June 2, 2026 during NAAW.
